Emergency Situation
In the event of an emergency situation where Chris Brain is the leader and is unable to continue leading the group or has been separated from the group

  • At all times keep yourself safe, do not put yourself at any further risk to help myself or others

  • Call 999 (or local emergency services if outside of the UK) and ask for the police/mountain rescue/coast guard as appropriate

  • Explain the situation and give accurate details of your location

  • Stay in your current location and wait for help

  • Use any equipment which may be available in my kit bag in my kayak/canoe/sup

  • If phone signal cannot be obtained activate my personal locator beacon by pulling out the antenna and pressing the power button

  • Keep yourself warm by insulating from the ground and sitting inside the group shelter

  • Contact one of my emergency contacts listed above
