A 4 hour course which can be used as a stand alone course or a refresher course between more advanced 3 yearly courses. The course includes: The Content:

• How to assess situation for danger
• Vital Signs: level of consciousness, breathing, colour, pulse, temperature
• CPR practice on manikins: Using current UK and European Resuscitation guidelines

The Qualification

• The CPR qualification will be for a period of three years
